Aardman's 50th: Lightroom immersive show starring Wallace & Gromit, Shaun and Morph opens October 14

Larger Than Life: Starring Wallace & Gromit, Shaun and More opens at Lightroom in King's Cross, London, on 14 October 2026, as part of Aardman's 50th anniversary. Aardman announced it on 10 March; Art Fund lists the run as ending on 4 January 2027. The 50-minute show loops across Lightroom's walls and floor. It follows how an Aardman film is made, from early sketches and miniature sets through stop-motion animation to finished scenes, using archive material, behind-the-scenes footage and new animation. 59, a Journey studio, wrote and designed it, and Nicol Scott directed. Wallace and Gromit appear from Wallace & Gromit: A Grand Day Out to Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, plus Shaun the Sheep and the plasticine hero of The Amazing Adventures of Morph. David Sproxton says visitors will see sets, puppets, cameras, lights and an animator at work.
