Notes
Imported from TMDB stop-motion keyword (10121). TMDB + web search 2026-07-16: 11-minute Bristol-produced stop-motion short (with some 3D elements). A waterborne disease slowly transforms sufferers into octopuses; as public hatred grows toward the afflicted, a couple must choose between costly medication or drinking the water and facing being shunned. Directed/written by Edie Lawrence (Royal College of Art Animation MA), funded by the Estate of Francis Bacon; produced by Milly Riley. No formal production company beyond the RCA/Bacon Estate funding relationship found. GitHub issue #121 (2026-07-16, anonymous website submission) verified full crew via festivalformula.com/tportmarket.com; a festival programme page separately named 'Les Films du Spectre' as production company but that is uncorroborated elsewhere and conflicts with tportmarket.com's 'Cheerio Publishing' credit, so primary_studios stays Research needed pending a source both agree on.
